About the author ...
 My name is Socheath Sou. I was born in 1979 in Kampong Thom Province locates a long the national road number 6 in between Capital City, Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap Province where there are a lot of ancient temples around. The country is called officially the Kingdom of Cambodia, originally Kampuchea and traditionally Srok Khmer.
I grew up in the province for about 18 years, then I have moved to the Capital City for persuing my study. In the City, I had enjoyed alot of things and I hope you will also like me when you visit there.
I graduated, in 2001, a Bachelor of Science, major in Physics Science from Royal University of Phnom Penh which is one of the ASEAN University Network (AUN). After the graduation, I joint a training to be a prefessional upper-secondary school teacher in Faculty of Pedagogy. In 2002, I persued to another degree, Master of Physics, at the Royal Academy of Cambodia, the place where I work for currently. Beside the degree in Science, I also hold another degree in business which is called Bachelor of Business Administration, specialised in Management Information Sytem, from National University of Management (NUM).
Currently, I am persuing another Master Degree in Energy Technology and my interested field of research is in renewable energy technology and hybrid energy system. My school name's the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi which is one of the specialized engineering universities in Thailand. |
